After having played for nearly 6 hours on a 3060 GPU/i7 CPU/32gb RAM PC, I can tell you: most of the reviews for this game are either bombing it for no reason, or they're just whining. The game has run with no performance loss at a stable 60fps the entire time, no audio stutter, no bugs. As for the 'microtransactions'... just don't buy them. Believe it or not, you can just ignore them! They're weird, but they're almost definitely a choice by the executives, not the dev team.

The complaints about the anticheat and not being able to start a new file are totally valid! Aggressive anticheat in a single player game is absurd- I understand if it would lock you out of being able to play online, but there's no reason it should lock you out of the base game, it's a single player game. The one save file is bad! No idea why they did that. It doesn't hurt me too badly, but I can understand why it sucks.

As for the upsides- the gameplay is phenomenal. The graphics look great. It's an evolution and an improvement on everything the first game did, and feels incredibly polished while it does it. It's absolutely worth buying if you enjoyed the first one!
