Project Zomboid is a zombie survival game in the isometrix prospective that focuses on classic survival aspects and the ever escalating threat of increasing zombie hordes. This is a great game for solo and multiplayer. Project Zomboid is a labour of love having seen a continuous stream of updates over the years.

Quite the achievement baiting you with curiosity and delivering in a potent form of existential dread.

Dungeon Master & Eye of the Beholder - Two games from the golden age of dungeon crawlers that the Legend of Grimrock clearly draws influence from. It stands tall among it's peers as a game that stays true to the best elements of gameplay from this era whilst updating it all with slick graphics, atmospheric sound and puzzles that raise the bar of challenge.

I feel this game and it's sequel have successfully revived the genre.

This is a game that takes me right back to the days of Harvest Moon on the Super Nintendo, with a good dash of Rune Factory mixed in. Presentation wise it's a colourful pixel art styled game with a consistent level of quality across the multitude of areas. The music consists of happy country life style tunes that add to the easy going nature of the game. This is the kind of game that's nice to jump in to when you just need to unwind a little - escape in to the warm world of Stardew Valley.
