bought the game at release with full AAA cost. here's what i got out of it.

despite the perfect premise, the game doesnt hit any of the expected high notes.

both major cities have huge lore and interesting conflicts, none explored fully. what happened between the two races that led to the headless statues everywhere?

how was queen disa orchestrating the whole scam behind the scenes?

how did the false arisen, who was a master thief, come to power? and where did he maintain his learned subterfuge in this whole farce?

what kinda problems were my POC handling while investigating the queen backdoors?

where the ♥♥♥♥ is that disease that pawns were getting?

why do the cat people hate pawns?

who is phaesus aside from a dark magic practitioner? why does he wana control the dragon so bad?

on what basis did disa connect with him?

statue at the end.. phaesus spawned it but stayed clueless about it. wth is that..

what was the point of that fancy WLC sword thats nothing more than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ornament?



i got questions for days, with no answers. just when things were starting to pick up, the game just ended. in the worst possible way.

it then made me realise that everything that created expectations in this game leading to the ending were just window dressings.. big words to keep the player hooked in for some big all out war and a great finish.

none of that.

screw this game. truly.

most, most underwhelming game ive played in years.

do NOT buy this game. ur money is much better spent practically anywhere else.

i downloaded this game only knowing it has topdown wasd. what i didnt know till i played along is that its one of the best looking and bug-free genuinely fun experience that puts diablo 4 to shame.

play it. it's good.
