Fantastic anti-grav racer with an amazing visual style. Large variety in maps, ships, and weapons (even without including community mod content) and plenty of options for different physics systems that emulate different Wipeout titles.

The campaign starts off easy but the difficulty ramps up massively about 1/3 of the way through and starts demanding both good mechanical control (airbrakes, pitching, afterburner) and map knowledge, which is very unforgiving for newcomers to the genre.

Arguably the biggest negative is the ship AI which seems to follow set racing lines to meet a target lap time. Among other things, this results in the AI going impossibly fast along straights (the statistically slowest ships will somehow outpace you even in a faster ship) and then follow apex turns so slow that you end up crashing into them.

Overall well worth the price and one of the best games in the genre.
