i want to give this game a glowing review. i want to tell everyone how refreshing and fun this game is.
i had close to 80 hours in this game prior to the official release, just in the playtests + betas.
the issues with netcode, desync, animations breaking, stuttering when moving around other players, and general inconsistency are just too much right now.
add in that the servers seem to be in a total state of disarray; 2 out of 3 matches i join, i have 100+ ping in same-region servers.
i have high hopes for the long-term. i'm sure they made a huge chunk of money off the initial release, so hopefully quite a bit of that is reinvested into getting this game where it needs to be.
i'd recommend checking it out around the end of the year to see if things have improved.

1122 hours and I just hit Grand Champ. I've been to RLCS three times now. Buy the game. Play it as a party game with friends at first. Learn the mechanics. Start watching pro-level competition. Watch the hours disappear.
