Including the same style of humour as Paradise Killer (the studio's previous game), Promise Mascot Agency is a lighthearted, fun, take on the GTA formula of driving around, solving problems.

With a Yakuza based story line you can't help comparing with the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series and this often feels like the sub-missions/side-quests of that series turned into a full story. The mascot management events keep the formula fresh and so far (8 hours in as of writing, plus 90 minutes in the demo) I want to see more and play more.

Very much enjoying my time so far and I don't think I've fully cracked the surface of the full game or the entire world. Entirely recommended if you enjoy management sims, open world exploration games, and wry humour.

It’s not overly complicated and takes a long time to get going but it has promise and I enjoyed playing it. Works well on steam deck too.

Very enjoyable take on the “city builder” genre with lots of active development. Clearly inspired by Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld but with a unique take.

Also runs fantastically on the Steam Deck!

This game is very addictive. If you want to play in a particular way, mods can help bend the game to your needs, but even the base game is great. I have started and finished several games now but only launched rockets (the "end of the game") twice in 350+ hours (including time in the Beta, pre-Steam). It's just so engaging and involved, I love it.

A complex but charming settlement builder in the vein of RimWorld or Dwarf Fortress. I've had a good time with my first few runs and would recommend if you don't mind some interesting bugs and frustrations - the game is still very early. There are good bones here for a game that will easily support dozens of hours as you work out the systems and improve your strategy.

I backed and paid for the game via Kickstarter.

For fans of base builders, wave survivors, micromanagers, min-makers, or storytellers Rimworld has something you'll love. And you can decide how much of each you want, all from a very smart and easy to play game. It'll challenge you, if you want it to!

I completed two towers and found myself bored. I hope they expand the scope of the game otherwise you see the entire game in the tutorial and there is no challenge except stopping overspending...

Engaging and a nice split between ship and on foot combat. Can get to end game in less than 80 hours, much less if you focus om that challenge.

Seems simple but really it isn't. A puzzle to make you feel smart, stupid and exhausted whilst still being fun!

A step beyond a normal Diablo 2 clone, easy to play and simple to control.
