Disgraceful development team implemented its most unpopular update feature to date; in spite of a massive, fierce and highly critical negative feedback from the player base community. As such, they have proven once more that they show absolutely no regard for community feedback unless its to reinforce the developers' road map.

Otherwise the community is great, meet many great friends here, whom i love to bits.

Having gone away previously from The Test and then this game; I ended up taking the advice to heart that this game gave me. To stop over analysing as much, to try to go with my gut a little more while getting on and changing things about myself that i was putting off for a long time.
In the intervening period between then and now, I ended up meeting my life partner as a result; who has recently discovered this series.
so thank you.
now on to revelations

Kinda hits home as the its conclusion about me was more or less on the ball.
Ended up with Justice as my secret word; which in its own way also fits.
I would be interested to understand what this was all in aid of however.

But all in all, its an Interesting psych / personality test, which is worth taking for its own sake.

Not so much a game, as is a visual experience ghost story.

The scanner itself is really the only game mechanic & simply the only means to see and navigate the world around you.
The game is full of atmosphere with tense undertones, which comes with being alone in the dark. However, the game is ALL atmosphere, so much so that it begins to wear thin from the promise of threat and the lack of delivery.
Progression is slow within the first-hour play and hard to get into until you obtain your first couple of upgrades; however once obtained, you can move at a much greater pace.

The game is very much an art project, an immersive experience rather than being a game in the normal sense.
Would recommend this game for what it tries to achieve and the experiences it provides but ultimately as something to learn from.

Life in Bunker is a challenging well written game, that I would encourage anyone who enjoys resource management games to play. Once you've gotten over the steep learning curve, it a pleasure to play.
After playing through the full 500yrs there was a couple of features, I wish was included however.

Notable the function recycler; although an expediant way of getting rid of all the trash that my little humies created. It ould had been better, had it generated a small amount of building material. Even if the ratio was 10 trash to 1 build piece, it would have gotten me out of a hole I found myself in mid game. Running out of ore to mine and lacking the build pieces need to construct a new drill & power it; it saw me ripping up half the base just to get the required resources.

Research points however, it seems I couldn't get rid of fast enough. By the end of my 2rd play through, I had amased around 2k's worth; so It definatly needs an extra use for them.

The mole men, in the end, turned out to be no trouble at all. Simply keep a plot of the cave visable but unused and wall them in. They can roam round to their heart's content, while barely effecting my little humies at all. So long that is, that the rest of the living space was floored, which prevent the little blighters from poping up inside my bunker and bringing my humies's lives to a swift end, as was the case with my first bunker. Well live and learn!

All in all, it was a lovely game to play.
Alex (430Flox), it'll be intresting to see what you do next.
