When you get to the end of chapter 1 you will find a difficult boss that shoots loads of missiles at you. Use the assault boost to better dodge. Good luck Raven!

People who are downvoting this game for the rebranding move are quick to forget that this is the game that inspired the mess that is Total War Saga, of which there is only one other game in. CA has stated that this is the game that they will model future Saga games off of which would be a welcome change. Also, all of the DLC for this game is now free, a great deal for newcomers to Shogun style TW games. Now, game industry politics aside let's evaluate the game on its own merits.

This game takes Total War Shogun's style and builds off of it to create one of the best campaigns in any Total War game. The main appeal of this game is the artillery and line battles so fans of Napolean and Empire will find a nice home here. In my opinion I prefer the more modern Warhammer games, but I do occasionally come back to FOTS for a nice historical distraction. The game is also beautiful, with a vibrant campaign map and outstanding tactical maps. I usually don't pay much attention to graphics but I would be lying if I said I didn't appreciate FOTS's looks. The only part of this game I dislike are naval battles which should be no surprise to anyone who ever played a Total War game.

Shogun 2 and its expansion were my favorite Total War games prior to WH 2 (which only barely beats it.) Do not let the video game industry's strange marketing practices stop you from enjoying a good game. And besides, if CA creates more Saga titles, I would prefer they make them in the style of FOTS rather than Thrones of Britannia.
