Alright, alright... I guess it's time to make a review on this one. Before we begin, I have roughly another 4000 hours i've put into this game before it was released on steam. This is a tough one, when I was in the peak of my playing there wasn't a better MMO out there. Fun but challenging raids, lucrative fellowships, and unique 3-mans made end game play a world of fun. And the pvp? It was unbeliavable, both sides were always out and willing to trade some deaths for some kills. After RoI, however, things started to go down hill. Textures started being reused, quests turned mind-numbing, the landscapes weren't as pretty and the end game raiding wasn't as fun. The pvp started to decline, now if a side isn't getting kills most will just log off. After that, the next expansion came out and then another, each one succesfully killing off more and more of the loyal community that this game used to have. Is it worth getting end game now? I guess. Granted that you are ready for some grueling quests level 65-105, it's still not too awful to play. Although grindy, the community that still exists does make it worth it to continue playing at max level, if you can find them that is. But for the casual gamer that isnt looking to spend 50 hours just to reach max level, it is for you that I strongly suggest you try this out. Levels 1-65 are so much fun to do, especially if you have a friend or two! The quests for the most part are fun and inventive, and there is something almost transcendic about being a big LoTR fan and following the company along on their journey! Many of the expansions are reasonably priced; you can either buy these with real money, or deed in game to earn enough turbine points to unlock them!

TL;DR
Not as good as it used to be but early levels are still a ton of fun
