The game is an absolute joy. A visual treat, it does a wonderful job of bringing the world of Battletech to a modern strategy focused setting.

I came for the giant robots. I stayed for the excellent artwork, visual design, music, and engaging gameplay.

The team that has built Black Mesa has delivered a product which manages to capture all the nuance, feel, and style of the original Half Life while bringing it to a more modern engine.

The gameplay feels great, the levels look great, the sound design + music score is excellent. On higher difficulties there are some challenging fights - and they always feel fair. This is a wonderful thing.

Although I seriously still love the original, to me this is the ultimate version of Half Life. Strongly recommended.

what i got: a tight action game with adrenaline packed game-play, and one of the best cyberpunk forays into games with a unique visual flair. seriously this game is dripping with atmosphere and the aesthetics are amazing. greatstory, great game-play, great audio. fully recommended.

Easily the best single player RPG thing I've ever played on a computer-box.
