I still have tons of the game to explore (and die to), but so far it's a slightly different take on the genre, more complex than what I'm used to (with the whole election thing, having to travel through space, and honestly a lot of lore to take in from the get go). Still, from what I played, it's been very fun.

Great roguelite to play with friends. Has a lot of replayabilty with tons of weapons and characters, and each run feels fresh. Gameplay is quite smooth too.

Took a while to really understand what was going on, but it was quite fun (albeit a bit hard; at some point I decided to just switch to easy and even then I wasn't one-shotting levels)
That said, the story/characters have the same vibes as in Helltaker, but this time it's yuri so instant 10/10 from me.

This game takes a slightly different concept than what we're used to in roguelikes: here, dashing isn't just a way to evade danger, but a way to attack enemies. It's quite easy and satisfying to do so, too, as the enemies glow a really bright red once they're about to attack, and the window is relatively generous. The game is quite pretty too, in its pixel art style. A touch beneath Children of Morta in this aspect, but it's mechanically a lot better.
The game kinda falls flat in its structure, though. It's as if they tried to take a little bit of every game -- they have a few standalone levels that end on a single final boss, and then they have the "actual" roguelike mode in which you need to go through these same biomes and beat them consecutively. And, in a similar vein to Hades, you need to beat the game multiple times, this time increasing your "heat". That... is kinda boring. The first times I cleared each biome were fun, but seeing them recycled in the "endgame" weren't so much, I'd had enough by then. There isn't enough variance in the runs to really justify having to beat "endgame" 5x to reach the story ending (maybe it's more, I got tired by the 4th). And the roguelike progression isn't that strong, the things we get to unlock in between runs are cool and all, but kinda slow and not too impactful.
Another thing that annoyed me a bit was how, if you're using any character that isn't the MC, he'll just appear instead of your character out of nowhere during cutscenes when you're finding a boss. But that's honestly kinda minor.
All in all, the game's greatest strength is its combat dashes, which are incredibly satisfying by themselves, and any structural issues I have with the game don't change the fact that I had a ton of fun playing it.
Also, I have in total about 6 hours of play time, but I played some of it offline so Steam doesn't count it, apparently.

Really fun dungeon crawler to play with friends. I really enjoy how the game feels with different characters and weapons.

Never did I think I'd have so much fun with proximity chat, but here we are. Literally Battlefield but much better.

Great puzzle platformer. Kinda reminded me of FEZ -- the puzzles are challenging in a similar way, only needing perhaps a little more mechanical skill on the platformer side of things. I did find a couple of bugs with placing things and changing the dimensions, but none of these really impacted my gameplay, and I'm kinda always looking for this sort of thing in games I play.

Also, visually, the game is absolutely incredible. The pixel art and the effects used are all very high quality. Great game overall.

One of the most creative tower defense games I've played recently. Already has enough content to play for a good few hours, and considering that we'll have two more classes on the way, it's still got tons of potential.

The idea behind the game is amazing, the pixel art is super pretty, and the dialogue is very funny at times. The difficulty is also pretty insane; getting the best ending takes a ton of effort, and being able to connect the dots in each AI-driven case is not an easy task at all -- and that's a good thing.

At the time of my review, there were a few bugs in the game, but it seems like they've been mostly dealt with, and now the game's experience is smooth.

Especially considering it's a free game, it's a great way to spend a couple of hours. I definitely recommend it.
