While the game itself has cool mechanics, overall interesting story and characters, it suffers from bugs and crashes that I didn't seem to be able to fix.

Combined with inability to save during combat, I have lost many hours for re-dos of fights or if I just forgot to spam save after every few steps.

If you are willing to look past it, then I don't think there are many other RPGs where building your character and party is that much fun. Feats, spells and classes are cool to use, and I actually enjoy the mechanics of combat.

However, after 30 hours, having managed my little kingdom for a moment, I just don't feel the fun anymore when I have to fight the same fights, speed through the same dialogues and slowly walk around the same locations due to crashes and losing progress, and am abandoning playing the game any further.

While the game is quite short, the strangeness of the contained jigsaws is wonderful.

This collection is a masterpiece in its genre.

I don't think there was a single puzzle that was unclear, the puzzle gimmicks were cool and the variety of them was just enough not to be overwhelming.

If you'll have played "20 small mazes" and enjoyed it, you will love this one then.

Well worth its full price IMHO.

Short and sweet game - if my platformer skills didn't detoriate so much I think it should be completable in ~60minutes on the first playthrough (it took me about 90 minutes). Given that, I'd still consider this game worth its full price, as it barely costs anything and just feels complete and finishing it leaves you with a sense of pride and accomplishement.

Number of mechanics is limited, but their introduction through level design is stellar and the world itself is interesting to play in with these mechanics.

If you are looking to do something fun this evening, pick up Leap Year.

I think this is one of the few games worth the full asking price and then some. I didn't 100% it yet, though not many puzzles remain.

I cannot recommend this game enough. I think it is a greatest puzzle I have played since Tametsi and The Witness. It is "open world" with multiple, different puzzles that you must learn to solve through deduction, starting with the easy ones. It twists the ideas, has a lot of optional areas mixed with the thematic ones.

I only didn't like one hidden puzzle related to the Gallery - I don't think I get it, in the game where most things matter, this one was very meh.

Soundtrack is chill.

Mostly plays great with a controller:
- I wish we could "enter" the "puzzle context", so you could use a d-pad instead of right stick to solve the puzzle,
- Puzzles in one of revealed areas tend to snap controller cursor to the grid in a way that makes it annoying and difficult to play, if you are moving the cursor near the grid itself.

I have finished this game after about 12hours.

I only recommend this game if you have played some logic puzzles before _and_ you crave for more.
Otherwise, do a coin toss,

If you decide to pick up the game, two tips:
1. Pay attention to snakes in top corners of your UI. Their eyes might sometimes glow, it means there's some secret to uncover in the area you are in. It doesn't mean that you have means to uncover it though - might do, might now.
2. You will need to backtrack to some puzzles, as solving them requires items that impact your mobility. However, keep in mind, that you don't need these items to collect 6 gems of any given color. If you play, you will know why this number is important.

There's a lot of good things about this game - puzzles, graphics, music.
- There's a lot of different mechanics to puzzles. While everything is based on "pushing boxes", there are different kind of boxes and other things that you can push for additional effects.
- Most of puzzles are well designed and it is obvious you cannot solve them yet and need some additional item or use a different entrance.
- Items that enhance movement make some puzzles possible and others easier. Acquiring them feels rewarding.
- Lack of help is great. It encourages experimentation, and with a well working `undo` functionality you can try a lot of different scenarios.

However, overall experience sometimes dissappoints.
- I don't like open world implementation here
1. there are areas of the map and islands that you will not be able to access
2. some areas that you can access will not have any purpose (but that's not obvious)
3. a certain island layout and traversal, while flavorful, is unnecessarily complicated
- at one point, if you are going for 100% completion, instead of solving puzzles you will be:
1. trying to spot a tile, which is slightly different to reveal a hidden path
2. hit all the walls like a moth in search of hidden path, if your perception fails you.
3. one of achievemnts requires idling for 1 hour...

Early Access Review
If that's an early access I really cannot wait (and will not wait) for full release.

Me not recommending this game is based on playing Dungeon of the Endless and liking it far more.

The difference being DOTE is a colorful dream; and ED is kind of a watered down recollection of a dream you might have during your lunch.

That said, you might like Endless Dungeon - on its own it is not a bad game, it's rather OK one to grab on some sale. It feels like it could be played with and by younger audience - you have coop up to 3 people. It has some dialogue and gameplay-wise does not feel dated.

It only becomes not a good game if you wanted it to replace DOTE on some evenings:
- if you have had a party in DOTE then you have to tell someone to play something else, since coop cap is 1 less.
- character selection and variety is worse than in DOTE - less characters, less traits and kinds of weapons

I had fun with this game - languages were different from each other despite using similar building blocks, the story that was there might not be the greatest but it was engaging enough and the score complemented the simple visuals nicely.

The only thing I didn't really like in this game is stealth mechanics and some more faster-paced sections - I'd rather have some cutscenes instead of these - instead of tension I felt frustration battling against the (lack of) controls.

It took me about 7hours to complete the game 100%.

Early Access Review
This game "early access" is kind of a lie - the product is more complete than some AAAs out there.

However, the developers update game very frequently and they still come up with ideas what could be improved and act on it - if you don't play the game for few weeks you might find some new mechanics, events, buildings that enrich the gameplay without throwing out of the window what you have already learned.

It is a nice rougelike with good meta progression, easy to use but complex enough mechanics and very nice art style. It has "prestige" levels for increasing difficulty through additional negative modifiers that force you to adapt your strategies (sometimes slightly, sometimes drastically).
