Holy cow, where do I begin here? Okay, so it's a 2D fighter, so I'm going to handle it by comparing it to other 2D fighters. Ahem. No blocking. No jumping. No dodging. Moves can be immediately chain cancelled. Moves can be immediately stopped by letting go of the button. Pressing attacks with the same input will do different moves arbitrarily. Okay, sure. Fine. Spam a move, beat the game. Right? Damaging your opponent increases their Rage Meter for a super. This is fine, except there is no way to reliably DODGE OR BLOCK any of these. Did I say reliably? Oh, sorry, I meant AT ALL. Okay, fine, what else? Well, at Hard difficulty and up, the third enemy (looks like a pair of foxes?) become a crapshoot to beat. They take absolutely zero hitstun or knockback, and at Impossible Difficulty, they begin moving and attacking BEFORE THE ROUND STARTS. This makes it so often you have no way to avoid the inevitable ring out. Say you KO the opponent? There's a nonzero chance that they will still attack. No, I'm not talking magic pixel here, gamers. I'm talking full on 'that dude's dead' dead. And if their attack KO's you? Womp womp, draw. The game will sometimes grant the opponent the win despite your opponent being down and your character standing tall, because.....reasons. Who knows? Words will be scaled differently, leading to the FIGHT message being stretched.

It's hard. It's frustrating. It's one of the most rewarding sim racing games when you get it right.

It's fun. Buy it. Do....you NEED more?
