Played this for 1,400 hours on a friend’s account before finally buying my own copy. (POV: The year is 2065, Factorio still hasn’t gone on sale, and now retails for $500)

This game is dangerously addictive. The modding community has only made it worse in the best way possible, extending the automation hypnosis loop from hundreds to thousands of hours with just various modpacks. It’s both the godfather and the gold standard of automation games. Many have tried to replicate its success, but Factorio remains the GOAT.
