Sonic Adventure DX is not only the worse version of the original Sonic Adventure, but this PC port is even worse than the original version of SADX. If someone wants to play this game for the first time, I highly recommend the original Dreamcast version, which not only is less buggy, but has a more cohesive art style, and is much more playable overall. This PC port works for people who exclusively want to play their games through Steam when able; otherwise stay away!

While I really enjoy Wilds, DO NOT INSTALL THIS PACK (unless you have a NASA supercomputer).

Even having it installed seems to cause the performance of the game drop wildly, and back before TU2, having it installed (just installed, it didn't matter if It was actually the texture level chosen in-game) would cause my game to crash constantly.

I would not be surprised if this texture pack is an extremely large part of why Wilds has such a bad reputation when it comes to performance, optimization, and the load on your PC. Most people do not realize that even having this installed, regardless of how you use it, makes the game run like absolute dogwater.

Stay away, and spread the word to anyone who might be effected.

I will leave comments open on this review. Please reply if you have had similar experiences, where the game performance improved dramatically upon uninstalling this texture pack.

EDIT: Capcom has stated officially on their Japanese account that having this installed does indeed lower performance, even if it's not the texture quality selected in the options, so beware!

Marble It Up! Ultra is a great platformer. There's really nothing else like it on Steam, and it's a perfect Steam Deck game.

Monster Hunter Wilds is a phenomenal game, albeit with major flaws that users must consider carefully. The obvious one is performance, but I won't belabor it as the other reviews cover the issue well. Run the benchmark before buying the game. The second biggest issue is that the low rank progression structure is just bad. This is, unfortunately, the type of game that doesn't "get good" until about 15-20 hours in or so. I enjoyed the content of the story but it's really unfortunate that it basically ruined low rank for me, with consistent railroading and suffocating restrictions that end up feeling arbitrary and pull me out of the immersion this game tries to set up.

That being said, when this game "gets good," it gets FANTASTIC. This has easily become my second favorite Monster Hunter game under only Monster Hunter 2 (dos) on the PlayStation 2. High rank in this game is probably one of the best experiences that one can get in modern AAA gaming, allowing the player to live in the world of the Eastlands and truly become a monster hunter, doing as you wish and engaging with amazing combat, exploration, and astounding vistas. Very immersive experience!

Hard recommend for anyone who has the patience to make it through low rank and a good enough PC. Stay away if you don't want to deal with consistent frame drops and bugs, or if you don't think you'll be able to sit through low rank. Watching some gameplay is probably a good thing to do for those who are undecided. Happy hunting!

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is one of the best RPGs I've played in recent memory. I think it's a must-play for anyone who wants a darker story and an immersive atmosphere.

While this game had a rocky launch, I think it has really matured into its own. Despite not being as focused on military combat as other Paradox games, I think that this is actually one of its greatest strengths. If you enjoy political and economic simulations, especially ones that deal with the relations between people in a drastically changing world, then this is for you. This is a game more about the story of your nation that combat, and I personally enjoy that about it.

That being said, if you like grand strategy games for the military, then this probably isn't for you.

I went into this game expecting it to be mediocre at worst and mid at best. Instead it's mid at worst and pretty damn fun at best. Exoprimal isn't a perfect game, but most of all, it's damn unique, and in a world where online shooters are becoming more and more homogeneous, I'm glad Exoprimal exists, and I hope that more people try it out. $60 is definitely a large asking price. In my opinion, this game should be $30. However, if you see it on sale, don't hesitate to pick it up, because I think that many of you will find it to be a great experience.

Portal is consistently one of the most interesting and concise games that exists out there. I played it once about ten or so years ago and just replayed it and it remained one of the most fresh and interesting experiences despite being more than a decade old. I highly recommend anyone who has not yet played it checks it out and then its sequel, Portal 2.

RimWorld is easily one of the most fun management games I have played. If you like games that require a lot of, well, management, this is right up your ally. Every decision that you make is very tense and the game is designed in a way that you can roll with it no matter what. "Story Generator" as a concept is very unique and this game does it very well. Not for everyone, surely, but if you like simulator-type games with a lot of minutiae to manage, this is for you.

Team Fortress 2 is one of my favorite games. If you do not enjoy shooters, I still recomend you play this game. I had always seen Tumblr posts about it, and all my gamer cousins said they played and LOVED it. I just was not the biggest fan of shooters. I didn't get it because I thought it must cost a lot of money and was not worth it. A few weeks later, my friend told me about this great game that was FREE. So I hopped on steam and downloaded it instantly. If I had a dollar for each hour me and him stayed up all night on skype playing, I would be rich. Or just have a solid twenty bucks. Close enough.
