While it has great aesthetics and some decent ideas, it also tends to feel like a slog. The permanent upgrades feel few and far between and most of the time is just spent meandering, without a clear goal to advance towards. It's a shame, I really wanted to like it.

Just a great little visual novel about the queer experience in small communities.

While the gameplay is somewhat shallow, the story is among my favorites in gaming.

The first hour or two is rough on the exposition if you are familiar with the universe, but it kinda hits its stride after. Much smaller, more focused maps than inquisition with plenty to explore and little puzzles to solve.
Combat is a ton of fun and feels like an evolution on inquisition's combat with setup spells and finisher spells.
