It will take you months of doing the exact same things every single day to get stuff that's lootboxeable immediately.
Even disregarding the p2w stuff - it's a terrible idle game. It's basically a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game stripped of 2/3rds of scaling mechanics and all of the character variety.

Terrible monetisation. Extremely poor QoL. "Full release" that's missing features. Updates that add a couple "Add +10 to your number" achievements take months.
There are better idle games out there.

Discount Factorio at 150% the price.

It is pretty, but that's pretty much the only thing going for it when compared to other automation games. No copy-paste, can't ctrl+z last placed building / blueprint. Blueprint creation is clunky and, for whatever reason, space-limited. Where Factorio allows you to just copy and paste an existing (and working) facrory - Satisfactory forces you to build inside a limited cube, where you have no way of checking if the thing even works after building.
"Benefit" of being able to build vertically is overshadowed by how clunky it feels to go up instead of sideways.

It's not really a bad game, just not a very good one compared to others in the genre.

10\10, would recommend.

"Cancel transaction" simulator. Twice the monetisation of poe for one tenth the content. At this point at least have some decency and make the game free to play.

Mediocre at best.

Good game, highly recommend.
