easily best nomintion for this year sit back and relax reward (2025)

Fianlly some what of some fresh air to the FPS Royle...

after dumping 10,000+ hrs in WZ since 2019 its nice to see a FPS Royle that dosn't have a bunch of ADHD players arnt running around like there head cut off..

The only really issue I have with this one is the same issue I have With PubG and WZ2 (back in the day) is the inventory/backpack system... The Looting system isn't Flunent and once again your gonna get killed to many time stuck in "menu"

the tanks ect dosn't really effect the over exprinces of the Royle since all FPS Royles have some sort of Veicals in them..


Right now I take This over WZ (crrent) and most deffently WZ Next Gen (with the exepcted stupid wall running/jump machanic on top of the overly stupid omni movement... (and yes I do complain/hate the movement in COD atm despite the fact I still clean up matches, I just perfer the only 2019 as minimal, but would rather have back BO1 movement back entirely.

Well The game Runs Smooth and stable, with high frame rates..

There some quorkes though if you remap key bindnings... some thing can't be remapped and could interfer with some basic game machanics ..

Were the game is mostly 90% FMV/ Cinematic video, and 10% game play...

makes for a killer story line, one hell of a long "movie"

and terrible game play... and when I mean terrible , I mean lack their of.. When u do "play" its great.. but expect to be bombarded by in game cut scenes every.. what feel like 30 steps...


Preformence wise.. its a steady 144hz @ 1440 at max settings.... so yay..

so if you like good raw story telling YEY
if you like core game play then NAIGH

Games as good as the first one if not better in a lot of ways..

As of a Side note :

for 1080/1440p for best stable Frames Go through the settings and try get the graphic settings to achive a rough 70 steady FPS.

Turn of FSR 3.1
frameRate Cap @ 60

Then load of loseless scaling 3.x set it to the follow

This is by far one of the Best SP Racing experiencing to date, Coming back since TRX2 on the dreamcast to this hits all the right marks

looking forword to the 300 + cars/rivals from the originals..

I loled a bit when people try to run this on a steam deck, or any current PC hand Held..

on that note though this port dose run mostly at a steady 120 fps with a few dips into the 90...

all in all the first 4 hours into it been flawless at max settings...

The Dev that just keep on giving ...

As some one thats hit end game ATM (waiting on new seasons) the following........


The Good :
The game it self isn't terrible, at the begging there's going to "feel" like a decent amount to get you though to lvl 60 with grinding (in reality u can do everything current and not hit max lvl 60) ****based on pre-season/inc season 1

The BAD
Its the Unfair AI @ Expert lvl and the Ultimate end game Grind that going to most likely turn you away here. The Unfair amount of money u will NOT make Vs the Actually amount of money you WILL need just to 100% the current season... Forget thinking about what u wanna save up for.. the game will force you to buy certain cars just to progress. (end game is a lot worse for this)


All in all with the right amount of fixes and XP/Money adjustments and a complete rework of the forced grind Id say jump in
For me so far the 67 hours was time worth spent despite wanting to nuke the AI

A must play if ....

You want to know the continued story of SoT and FBH

For every one else.. its 7/10

Of the top its gets a 5 because it just works... with todays titles it a suprise to be able to just load a game and have it work . on my system at 1440p I get a stable/steady 240fps on max settings.. (zero crashes, zero stuttering/micro-stutting)


The extra 2 stars is because of

The Story and dialog is witty as every,
The overall audio is one of the strong points of this title
The Rouge like "chapters" and the RNG in each area lessens the impact of dieing. and increases the Replay value
The Online MP aspect is also a strong point

The missing 3 stars.... is because of...

The combat is its weak point... Its repetitive... The melee aspect is just basically mash and dodge combat... The Range Combat is almost unplayable... This combat system neeeds a "zelda" style Z targeting system.... Its can be frustrating because it has zero targeting system ... the camera view/system is just down right terrible
