It is not a bad game! But would I recommend it? No.
Nice but corny story, but an ultra sluggish character and puzzles that are a glorified press X to continue makes me fee like it all was intended to make a 4.30ish hours long game take waaaay longer. A game I'd only recommend for people who enjoy walking sims or are really new to the genre. I will finish it nonetheless.

Fun game but requiring always online (and "noticing" the "mistaken translation" right before launch when the page was up for 3 years) is a no for me.

This game feels like Ready Player One. It lists a lot of things that you like, but once you start paying attention it's basically void from meaning.
In general, it is a step down from Two Crowns:
Graphics in general are confusing, everything blends in - sometimes can't tell things from the from the background or bushes in the foreground
Some units have no use, like the Squires. or the recruited children with no weapons that run straight to the activities, but then wander weaponless for a while.
Story makes little sense, it's like "ah we should make the player go from A to B in the story with... uuhm. A canoe? A super slow drawbridge? A van that goes trhough walls!" and it's just a bit over 4hs to complete.
And in gameplay terms, it feels that you are being held by the devs as they point you exactly which way to go, with little to no reward if you explore the rest of the islands, no statues-like mechanics, seasons, etc.
Overall it's a poor attempt of get some nostalgia and story altogether in a game. Maybe with some fixes and DLCs in the future it can turn over.

This game cannot be played locally if you have one controller. There is an issue were the keyboard and a single controller act as the same player, rendering the local co op unusable. The issue has been around since 2018 and nothing has been done to fix it.

I bought this game because graphicaly somewhat reminded me of The Swapper - which is a great platformer where you use 'clones' of yourself to get things done. But it did not engage me at all.
The premises of the game are good - you can use gravity, and control time, and it does look pretty cool. 20 minutes into the game and I regret buying it - and double regret buying it 6 months ago and not being able to return it.
The controls feel extremely clunky. Trying to run and suddenly roll is not really confortable in the hand. Having to examine the crates where the items are to just look at them and click them seems a waste of time, just grabbing them would be easier. Deaths don't have great animations, when I fell through a set of lasers no change was seen in the character. The rope mechanics are OK but add to that sense of clunkiness the game gives in overal.
There is no control support (I tried with both a PS4 and an 360 control) which would be good but not perfect - as there is the option to shoot down enemy bullets with your own bullets while you are on bullet time, and an analog stick might not be the best to do this.
Maybe in some time I would give this another try and change my mind, but I encourage people to try it for themselves first.
