Genuienly one of the best games I've played in a while how the ♥♥♥♥ did it take me this long to play

It's pretty good. It isn't the "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Destiny is back" expansion. It's no Witch Queen. It's no The Final Shape. But if you somehow still enjoy playing like I do, you'll enjoy Renegades.

Oh yeah. Word of advice for those who read this and decide to play: If you want to get any kills at all during the campaign, avoid running it with a friend that's using Nothing Manacles. That ♥♥♥♥ got so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ juice.

The only bad part is that the demo ended. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peak.

Oh boy.

Let's start off with the positives, because there are some.

1. The campaign:
The campaign was honestly stellar. The story was great, Lodi is an amazing character, and they really gave Maya Sunderesh a glowup! She honestly feels like a genuine threat now.
2. New stats and armor:
The new stat system is great. No more required 100 resilience. No more trying to spec into a class ability for little to no benefit if you're a hunter. Is it annoying to regrind armor? Sure. But overall, I think it's a good change. The preset armor spikes are annoying, but I get it. Bungie wanted to rein us in a bit, and while that sucks, I get it.
3. Tiering system:
I like it! Cool system. No comments.

And now the bad:
The Portal:
That's it. That's honestly my only criticism of what came with Edge of Fate. Solely because of how it was implemented. They chose about two dozen missions that you can play through. The same two dozen. Yippee. They then made all other content obsolete, so there's no reason whatsoever to play anything other than the Portal. They essentially soft sunset 99% of the game because there is no reason whatsoever to do any content that isn't the Portal. Raids? Dungeons? Grandmasters- those are gone! The vendors are barren.

I've never seen any company try THIS hard to kill their game, a game that was WORKING. A game that was fun. A game that, though we didn't see it at the time, rewarding.
