This game is an exercise in frustration. Ignoring the growing pains all alphas go through, much of the frustration comes from the game mechanics themselves. It takes time and patience to gather resources and to work your way up to be able to build something significant. The problem is your character and all your stuff stay in server when you logout. So unless you have the time to log back in and babysit your belongings, chances are you are going to come back and it will be all gone. It is quite infuriating to login after a couple of days and see a week's worth of loot gone. For a person like myself, who has snippets of time during the week to indulge in the game, I can't afford to constantly upgrade by equipment to keep up with somebody else on the same server, who does nothing but play all day. This leads to an invisible ceiling which I keep hitting over and over again. I make a certain level of progress and inevitably get raided by hacker or a legitimate bandit. Ofcourse I am not complaining about the hierarchy that exists between players based on their respective time investments in a certain game but I just do not understand why my character and loot has to stay in server when I logout.

Having said that, there are some really fun moments in game and I think for the most part, one can have a great time! I just don't have the patience to go collect again for the hundreth time.
