To all those reading this,

Do not go by the overwhelmingly positive reviews, even though it deserved it. I cannot recommend it at its current state. Reasons to not recommend Stutter (Silent) Hill 2 are:

1. One of the most unoptimised game of the year.
2. Has some serious issues with DLSS, if you plan to switch to FSR then goodluck.
3. Deluxe Edition is a scam, they advertise they are selling you soundtrack but you will receive a demo of it not the complete soundtrack. For complete soundtrack you have to rely on youtube or other sites where it is availble.
4. Hair strands are messed up while using DLSS.
5. No more updates to fix this mess.
6. Frequent Crashes related to DX12 or some other ♥♥♥♥
7. Price point at which they are selling this half released game is not at all justifiable.

Just go for the cracked version and do not support Konami, the scammer.

The best remake ever. I wont say that. This game pretty much added somethings which were missing in RE2 Remake. There are few cons with this title which I’d say were annoying:

The first and foremost if you dont have powerful CPU the game will stutter on the village map whenever entering new area, It should have been fixed as it has been more than a year since release.

The Inventory models for the Guns you carry are terrible. Whenever you purchase a part to merge with a weapon it wont attach to rather it stays as it is which looks ugly, this was present in RE2 remake but not in this one.

Whenever you unlock in game unlockables like cat ears, dear anthers, chicken head etc (all ingame cheats) they should have provided the ability to hide the headgear as it looks ugly as hell, but meh they wont.

Lastly, I made accidentally a save in a new slot at the bottom there is no way present in the game to delete that, like wtf seriously I cant delete it. Why? It should be upto the user.

Apart from this the game is awesome, the combat mechanics which is a +1 for me, a really well written story, never felt like it is being dragged. I would recommend this game on a sale though based on its price point.

I would rate it a solid 8/10

Do not go by negative reviews to miss this great title. Those people are whining about the PSN requirement, which is implemented in this.
Just sign in once, for linking the PSN to your steam acc. Is at your discretion. Then you can logout the PSN ez.
If you liked GOW 2018, you will like this.

There are major bugs so I’d say to wait for SONY to patch it, if you’re still in hurry go for cracked version if you are planning to buy at full price now, because in 2 months, it will be on discount, so wont recommend to buy at full price at this stage.

Coming to the gameplay part for those of you who are playing for the first time there are minor changes to combat mechanics.
