Almost 90 hours within the first week, I don't think I need to say that I quite like this game ^_^

There are a few bugs that can be quite annoying, which hopefully get fixed soon but other than that, this game truly is amazing and came quite a long way from when I saw others play about a year ago as Epic exclusive.

Oh boy, what happened to this game...

I would recommend the game in early access. While of course there were bugs and unbalanced AI as well, the game's direction felt right, and every time I came back to check on new stuff it was a fun and enjoyable experience nonetheless.

But 1.0 was a giant mistake. The game feels rushed out and it's so much worse than before. The game's performance is abysmal, even on the most modern hardware. The enemy AI is unbalanced like it has never been before. Lots of content like different game modes for each map has been completely stripped out. All of that for the increased price? Yes, some mods fix some of that like the AI for example but it should be base game, and there are enough other issues like the performance and cut content.

I can't recommend buying the game in it's current state, not even on a sale. 1.0 is a huge disappointment imo.

After playing this for a while, you will start to shoot to the beat in other games too without realizing it :D

A super fun, unique and addictive game that gives you good vibes. Can also be pretty tough at times but the challenge is still very enjoyable.

What an absolutely amazing remake! <3 I don't even know what to say, this just makes me so happy. It brings all the nostalgia back, stays true to its original but keeps little fresh things in it. With amazing updated graphics and a butter smooth movement, you will have a blast playing it. It's one of those games I know I will come back over and over and do plenty of speedruns and other runs over time. It's just that good. Whether you are new to RE4 or played the original a ton, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this game to you.

No, seriously. I have such a blast playing this game and it's a lot of fun. It's unique to other "ghost hunting games" in a very good way. You will experience a good mix of difficulty, action, and horror. The reputation system is very good cause it doesn't take the fun away of being too feared to lose your equipment. But at the same time even with a lot of money, u will keep the strife to successfully complete your missions since u wanna keep that reputation for future updates and items.
The game feels very action pact but keeps the formula of a good horror ghost-hunting game. Another thing I really enjoy is that I can just play this game alone and have an amazing time. I don't like it if I have 100 monologues with myself talking to the ghost in these games. (with text mode in phasmophobia u kinda can do it too now but it's not the same)

Overall I highly recommend this game if u wanna try a new type of ghost-hunting game that feels very fresh, good, fun, and different from others.

Over 6 years it has been out, but the fundament still suffers from the same problems and might even get worse.

What started as, and should be a fun game is getting way too competitive and makes it feel bad. Feels to me like each feature that would be good, gets implemented the wrong way or is made completely redundant by another controversial change soon after.
You need to keep in mind that this game is out for over 6 years. Maybe one day this game gets perfect but that will take forever with this feeling of always taking a step back again after one forward.
In the right scenario, the game can be fun and there is lots of cool stuff but the frustration this game can give you is huge. Both sides if they want can make the other side wanna uninstall the game right away with all the obnoxious things they can do.
If both sides have the same mindset it's great but that might only happen after 5 or 10 games that made u furious. A 4vs1 game is hard to balance and might not even be supposed to be balanced but the game getting so sweaty and competitive takes all the fun stuff u can do away and that is how the game's direction is going more and more. It just gets boring, frustrating, and hard to find fun and joy. At least for me.

The game's UI / UX and QOL features are absolutely not 6 years of improvement.
I only recently realized how bad it is, when I came back from a bit over 1 year of a break. U wanna search for one of the many perks? U better know the icon and then look in alphabetical order. There is no search and filter function at all.
Buffs and debuffs during the match are not explained. If u don't know what a buff or debuff symbol is doing (if it even displays) well too bad. U can't hover over it and not even the name is displayed. If u play solo u don't know what your teammates are doing or what perks they running at all so u might not know why they want to do a certain thing that benefits them.

Bugs? Uhmmm yeah, there are quite a few of them I'm not even gonna continue there.

Monetization. U buy the base game, then u have a cosmetic store, a battle pass, and a new killer/survivor dlc every few months.

Grind recently got better I think but it's hard to say for someone that plays the game since year 1. I still think for someone new the grind is terrible. Given that many of the good perks are all from different dlc's and characters.


Overall tho there is a cool game, that if both sides are on the same mindset can be super fun and I hope one day the game is going in a more enjoyable direction again. But atm I wanna almost say my biggest mistake of 2022 is trying dbd again.

I absolutely fall in love with this game. I heard only good and had high expectations, usually something not too good to have when starting a new game. But my god this game, even with these high expectations I got absolutely stunned and addicted to the game. But be careful u might think u played 2 or 3 hours, just to realize that 12 hours have passed :D

Just finished my 4th any % run and I enjoy DS2 so much. It gives you so many opportunities for different challenge runs and that is what I love about it and really addict me to the game that i do multiple runs a day currently :)
