Although the game is still rough around the edges, its foundation is very strong. It is a sandbox game that combines Warband’s freedom of approach with extremely well-designed and surprisingly deep turn-based tactical combat, especially when the right skills are unlocked. I was impressed by the responsiveness of the game world, where everything you do is recorded and remembered by the NPCs. There’s still work to be done, and the UX needs a good overhaul, but honestly, it surprised me.

Solasta is a competent, sometimes even brilliant, TRPG wrapped in a mediocre adventure. If you want to be wowed by a non-linear story with richly written character, you should steer clear of it.
On the other hand, if you need a fix of satisfying turn-based fantasy skirmishes running on the fifth edition of Practically-That-Famous-Tabletop-RPG, this product is for you.

The general presentation is quite solid, and UI and user experience are twice more refined than Larian's take on the fifth edition (yeah, I know, it's quite a low bar). Just be ready for a bunch of lifeless faces and direction-less voice acting; it's one of the few times where dubbing and cutscenes significantly make the game worse.

ICY is a survival RPG (more rpg than survival, thank god) with a strong emphasis on narration and characters.
The presentation is nothing to write home about and the combat tends to be repetitive after you fully upgraded your gear, but it is indeed a solid game with a gripping story and an enjoyable cast of survivors and misfits.
