I think this is the only Alpha early access game worth getting. The development team is always pushing out huge updates. New maps, vehicles, animations, weapons, redesigning gun handling, etc. It's really impressive compared to other early early access games that seem to stagnate really bad. The gameplay in Squad feels highly realistic. I really enjoy that the game is made on the latest UE4 game engine. I think that was a great choice by the devs to build on the latest Unreal Engine.
