Game is fun overall, my only real complaint is maps need to be bigger, and some of the maps that are bigger are just vehicle spam simulators.

Although clunky, and glitchy at times, it is a fun game and has great potential. I think $30 is a bit steep though

I am a massive fan of the Dune books and movies, and at first was worried when this game didn't look that great. The game did not seem very intriguing when watching streams, but the reviews were very good, so I wasn't sure what to think.

I decided to try the game, and it is definitely worth it. The game has tons of replayability, the survival loop is really fun, and the combat mechanics are pretty cool. I also love flying around with the suspensor belts.
Definitely recommend, especially with friends.

Overall the game is worth getting, but I think difficulty needs scaled back, or there should be difficulty options, and I say this as someone who beat radahn and prime consort redahn pre nerf, and have played souls games for many years. I have only played with randoms, and have not been able to beat any boss besides the starting boss (or get them below half hp). Playing with randoms just really isn't viable. I recommend this game especially if you have a full team to play with, then you will have a much better time.

Game play loop overall is good, although I worry that there wont really be much replay-ability after you beat all the bosses. It's not like ROR2 where you can do crazy builds, explode everything on the map in one hit, run around the map at mach 10, eat 10 shaped glass to destroy everything including your health bar. The scaling is extremely linear and different item combos don't really give you variable builds. You can just get "strong enough" to beat the boss basically. No wacky build combinations that I have really seen as of yet (not that there aren't), you aren't going to get the variability and replay-ability of other rogue likes.

My other complaint is the lack of content, which ties into replay-ability and variability. They only have a limited selection of weapons you can choose from, no Shadow of the Erdtree weapons to use, and all assets are reused (which we knew, but there really is pretty much nothing new aside from the shadow lords).

Problems aside, it is still Elden ring combat/boss fights, and the race against the clock to power yourself up is exciting and thrilling at times. If you are casual though, wait for them to patch to improve scaling, add content, improve replay-ability, and improve the random multiplayer matchmaking experience. If you are a souls-like fan, then even with the current problems, it is probably still worth getting.

Combat is fun, and it's a fun game to play with friends. Armor and weapons are cool. My main complaint is the obvious performance issues, and also they should streamline the multiplayer experience. Kind of over complicated and not a lot of quality of life features.

Casual player's perspective (air battles only):

Flight model is good and planes are pretty easy to fly while feeling realistic. The combat is fun and really there isn't another game where you will get the same plane combat experience. Game runs well for me on my laptop and PC.

My main complaint is how much of a grind it is to unlock new vehicles for a casual player. This is on purpose as they want you to spend money on the game, and it's kind of scummy how they go about it. But what can you do.

Regardless, the game overall is fun and I enjoy playing it.

SBMM cranked to the max, game is just corny and they love adding dumb guns instead of just focusing on gameplay. Better than the last few cods, but still not worth the money.

I wasn't planning to get the game because of all the negative stuff I had heard, but changed my mind. The combat is fun and pawn system is great. It's very different from most games like this that I have played. I play on 4k max settings, ray tracing on and was getting around 40-60 fps. Which is honestly fine. But with DLSS quality it looks basically unchanged, and I get around 80-100. On my laptop, I do have to turn everything to low and DLSS on, but it still looks pretty decent regardless. Story seems intriguing, but I haven't gotten far enough yet to give it a solid verdict. As far as in game purchases go, I wouldn't have even known there were any if people didn't mention it. There is an online store page on the main menu, but I haven't even opened it. There is nothing in game that would require you to use the online store.

We have won against Sony's tyranny and democracy has prevailed.
