I fully recommend this game it is great for trying to get a tactical edge over your opponents. I came from CS:GO (a very skill based game) and I have over 3000 hours including all of my accounts combined. This game always has a new way of looking at the situation. It is great for good thinkers who can come up with good strategies and then to execute them. This has been the most fun I have had in a while.

However, it is worth mentioning that this game has a steep learning curve and takes a lot of dedication to play at a high level, after dedicating so much into learning CS:GO I did not want to do the same with Rainbow Six Siege.

With all of my accounts combined I have roughly 3000 hours in CS:GO. It is a skill based game with an extremely steep learning curve that requires a lot of dedication, research and practice. Playing at the highest level requires learning and mastering many aspects, some of which being: aim, recoil patterns, movement, grenade line-ups, strategies to take or hold control of specific areas and more. The more of these you master the easier it will be for you to rank up.

I have had a love-hate relationship with CS:GO for the past few years. This game can be extremely satisfying, fun, and competitive when you have a good group of teammates. However, if you get paired up with a bad team it can be beyond tilting. Unfortunately, solo queuing usually results in being paired with toxic and incompetent teammates. So if you do decide to get into this game I strongly recommend finding some good teammates to play with.

Also if you I don't buy CS:GO Prime, don't bother. Non-Prime matchmaking is littered with cheaters for the simple reason that they do not need to re-buy the game after being banned - they can just make a new account for free.
