With all due respect, i did enjoyed my time playing this game.
As an RE fan, i love seeing RE3 being remade as it was one of the earliest games i still remembered my brother playing it on our PS1.

I enjoyed the map, the weapons, the enemies and the mechanics of the game. However, i would not recommend this game solely for its price, replayability, and total play time.

Compared to last year RE2, this game didnt achieved what RE2 did so spectacularly, which is what make an RE game good. To me, that is survival horror.

Yes, RE3 back in the day was much more fast paced, and action orientated.
However, that does not mean they should ignore what made RE2 remake a big success in the first place.

1. Zombies : Compared to RE2, RE3 zombies are not as threatening. RE3 makes it possible for the player to kill each zombie without being paranoid on running out of ammo for the next area. This is because both the zombies became easier to kill, and the abundant ammo provided in the game. This takes the fun on what make Resident Evil a horror game.

2. Nemesis : As cool as he is, he is scripted to appear in certain events. Compared to Mr. X in the previous game, Mr. X will chase the player almost everywhere in the RPD. Nemesis did not have that niche despite being the main cover of the game. Although the original RE3's Nemesis was also scripted to appear at certain time, that does not RE3 remake should do so.

3. Options/Choices : In RE3 original, there were moments for the player to pick the route/options in specific events. This mechanic could have been used for RE3 Remake as it would shine out differently from RE2 remake.

My last complain would be the price. As the game comes together with Resident Evil : Resistance, i did not enjoyed my time or even looked forward on playing the online platform of RE. As some other players such as myself agreed, that the reason we bought this game is primarily for RE3 remake, not the online version of it. If there was an option for me to buy only RE3Remake without the multiplayer option thus making my purchase total cheaper, i would have done so.

All and all, i still love the game, but i wouldnt recommend for newcomers to purchase this as the price is too expensive for its flaws, RE2Remake is a better option for newcomers.
