Old Hardware, New hardware, expect frequent crashing and freezing. Got excited about this when moving from an old 1060/I5 build to a 4070/I7 rig and it still crashes the same.

Just because I keep seeing all these "vets" writing poor reviews about the newest updates that changed the monetary system from a credit drop to a random crate drop...
The old system was the most money grabbing piece of **** I have ever seen in a free to play game ever. My initial experience was getting the crap kicked out of me by people who had obviously sunk quite a bit of cash into the game because they'd be running around with top tier gear that they simply bought (for those that don't remember, you could buy a prebuilt before you even played your first mission and be instantly boosted to a mere 8-10 levels from the maximum) I remember farming for 12 hours to get my armor all up to tier 3 because I got tired of snipers aiming for soft spots. I remeber getting stuck with crappy teams and getting absolutely nothing for a mission. NOW all I've got to to is be better than my team to get good loot, and I can then sell that loot to buy what I want. However, I've been finding it much more enjoyable to try and build out of what I've got and get creative rather than do the same old tired thing over and over, scrounging up funds to replace the last three blocks in my robot for a diferent color.
And to those complaining about the new "pay wall" I've gotten 2 legendaries since coming back (and actually playing it through steam now before people say something about my hours played) and one of those came off a rusted crate daily! All in all it's nice to see a game actually getting to be less pay to win and more about the fun.

TLDR: this game used to be fun for people who could either afford to play it like a job, or take out a second job to pay for it. Now it's just fun for everyone that can catch on to basic concepts.

Side note: when capping points/destroying crystals, you need only to shoot the balls along the little vertical strips and not waste time blowing up the whole thing.
