Early Access Review
Small point of reference; I have played Path of Exile 1 on release and have put in 6000+ hours into the game, I have experienced the majority of updates and have never felt negatively towards Path of Exile 1 or GGG.

Even though I love the idea of Path of Exile 2, I cannot in good faith recommend the game in its current state.
Ultimately this game boils down to "What if Path of Exile 1 Ruthless was its own game, but with a fraction of the content?"
This game can exist, but with the recent announcement of GGG admitting that they are pulling full PoE1 resoucres into PoE2, they are essentially working towards no exciting content for probably atleast the entirety of 2025 for both games.
But even after a year, would it really be worth playing PoE2 over PoE1? I have my doubts.

So far, PoE2 could've entirely existed within PoE1 Ruthless League. The only thing you would miss out on is WASD movement, which arguably should be implemented into PoE1, that did feel really good.
A few exciting bosses, however, ironically enough I think bosses with immunity phases overall feel less frustrating than PoE2 campaign bosses right now.
Updated graphics, which I personally don't care for, I much prefer visual clarity.

GGG, I respect your work and effort, but as for now I don't align with the vision.

This might not so be much be a review for the game as it is just my experience with the game, but I feel like this still deserves some words from me as it is my favorite shooter.
I played this game since I was 11, I'm 20 now and I keep finding myself coming back at this game even when I personally thought the game was in a bad state. Games like these that I still genuinely find interesting are hard to find, the other three games I feel this for is Minecraft, Path of Exile and League of Legends. These games just do something right in the replay value. I think that TF2 has this because of the many ways the classes interact with each other and the potential of always getting better at the game. It also stands out to me because it uses different ways of dealing damage, I personally think hitscan is very boring and tends to strive me away from games that purely require hitscan aim. TF2 uses alot of different projectiles which just simply attracts me way more. So obviously Soldier and Demoman come into mind, which I enjoy very much although I like playing Pyro the most as his projectiles are the most different, especially since his update.
I also think this games nails down having a fun healer class, most of the time games miss very hard with making a healer interesting, but TF2 rewards you for doing more than just healing.
The only two problems where one is being solved as of this review is a bot overload and an insanely high skill entry, I understand it puts most people off but you're just not going to get away with having played a regular shooter for thousands of hours and not be stomped, you probably don't even look in the air in your regular shooter whereas in TF2 danger can come from anywhere at any time. I like the game alot though, and I do think it deserves the love, even if Valve arguably doesn't really care about it anymore.
