While a glitchy and buggy mess of a port, Force Unleashed II gives more of what the first game offered, which is over-the-top Force powers and saber combat against some of Star Wars' most memorable enemies. Completing it for the first time, it felt significantly shorter than the previous title. I heard there were some console-exclusive content released that is available in the files on PC but is tricky to activate. If the developers, publishers, or whoever has the rights to this series is able to patch the bugs and add the DLC to Steam, this game would be a lot better. As it is, if you can stomach the lack of vsync, capped 30 fps (can be uncapped via 3rd party patch), and occasional crashes, its a fun experience.

Whether you're the sneaky type, the sniper type, or a hack 'n slasher, you may enjoy Assassin's Creed Origins. 3rd person action adventure with stealth being one of the funnest things since I've played the Batman Arkham games. Nothing quite as satisfying as clearing an area of bandits without any of them knowing what is happening to their buddies. If you aren't good at stealth, the game doesn't really seem to punish you for blowing it, except if you don't disable the smoke signal(s). Those can bring a bunch of dudes just waiting to get their blades red with your blood. Taking those out will make things much smoother if you do end up getting spotted.

If you like goats in the most bizarre situations you can imagine, you might like this game. If you like simulator parodies, you might like this game. This game is the adorable mutant spawn of those two,

If you enjoy pixel graphics, sandbox games, side scrolling platformers, and enjoyed Terraria, chances are you may enjoy Starbound. ChuckleFish has added quite a bit of content since I started playing it back in 2014. It's gotten a lot better as far as quests and a story, and it still is being updated. They do occasionally go dark on social media for a while but when they do come back, historically, they've tried to give enough details about what they've been working on. They do seem to take a lot of feedback into consideration, so comments/suggestions/etc are welcomed.

It does get a bit annoying that you have to jump around to different systems in order to find all the right things, but I enjoy exploring the planets after getting what I need. I continue to find new things that I never found in all the time I have played this game. Overall, I just like fighting enemies and launching arrows at the trap barrels on some worlds.

I played the first Life is Strange and enjoyed it throughouly. I am a 27 year old man and the story of Max Caulfield and her BFF Chloe Price left me in shambles. I was very happy to hear there was a prequel coming out that would show Chloe's time after Max left and she dealt with David. While there was a different voice actress for Chloe, she still potrayed (imo) her snarky, sarcastic, teenangst-ridden character well. The soundtrack paired nicely with the art: the sweeping shots of key-moments in the game coupled with the indie tunes make those scenes memorable, so playing with the music on is recommended (I do love me some indie music, so there may be a little bias).

The new gameplay mechanic that sets Chloe apart from Max is her Back-Talk choice. There are certain moments where Chloe can choose to Back-Talk, which sets her up to deliver a tirade of insults, putdowns, and low-blows, hoping to sway the argument in her favor. If you choose the right responses, usually a key word or phrase, you might succeed in convincing that person to stand down or give you something but at risky cost. I like the mechanic and hope the future episodes give us more! A few of them made me laugh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass off!

New developer Deck Nine faithfully gives us another story in Arcadia Bay (♥♥♥♥ you!) and I eagerly await the next episode!

Early Access Review
7 Days to Die is a zombie survival game with crafting and building. Every thing you craft, every action you take, every food or water you drink can help you survive. But on the night of day 7, you will be assaulted by a horde of zombies that will attempt to eat you no matter where you are. Build or fortify a base, add spikes and/or barbed wire, make some wooden clubs and bows+arrows and maybe you will make it past night 7.

Pros
+Simple crafting system w/ non-invasive tutorial that helps get you started
+A lot of customization in terms of clothing/building options
+Variable weather/climate depending on biome
+Crafting/building/doing survival things levels most of your attributes, which turns into skill points that can be spent on perks. This is especially useful if playing with a group who desires to pool resources

Cons
-AI pathing is pretty good but they seem to give up if unable to reach the player effectively
-Combat is meaty but a little clunky
-Hordes on night 7 can sometimes be a bit of a bother, which can spell doom of new or inexperienced players
-Optimization is alright but could be better

Overall, if you're looking for a zombie survival game, wait for this game to go on sale. Very fun but because it is still Early Access, there are some things that could be improved. Build 16 is coming soon as of this review, so maybe check out the game around that time.
