good game and a good port

I love the talent that goes into this, but there are some major flaws. first off, i like the lack of hud unless you check the mag, but you really need a heath meter especially without regenerating health. also, that platforming section in the citadel is so, so dumb. please... don't put platforming in a half-life mod. another thing to highlight is the very thinly placement of healthkits and ammo, i literally had to use impulse 101 a few times because of a lack of ammo, also on the note about weapons, there are only three, crowbar, pistol and smg, and these will get you through the game, but a shotgun would be useful in a few sections.

i do recommend this because there aren't many stupid sections, but when you do play this, just be prepared to deal with some minor stupidity.

Better than Hunt down the freeman

this game looks amazing but the story is kinda scuffed, there doesn't seem to be a concise story and Is all over the place.
Nothing demonstrates this more than the opening: i went from sailing on a boat in search of Civilization and end up on an island with some kind of portal floating above a factory (note: I haven't played this in a few years) I went through the portal and ended up on a spaceship thingy with a ton of weapons and went through ANOTHER teleporter and ended up in a combine city. Basically, the theming and story is all over the place.
Really the only thing this mod has going for it is it's visuals and that's about it.

This really feels more like a mod than an official half-life game, but its still pretty good.

Best fallout game.
Hands down.
