Enjoyable mellow game

I was seriously undecided about the game. I liked the idea of base building etc but wasnt sure about the Alters part of the game. Now my feelings have shifted. Base building and resource management is fun but the Alters make the game. It is a story driven game but it was not what I was expecting. I love the different personalities the balancing of resources keeping your base to a level that you can move on easily if needed. I am not a lover of time pressure in games but this one actually does it really well and it gives you that real feeling of balancing staying to get enough resources just in case and moving on in time. Really well worth the money.

Having a great time so far. A group of us have been playing together and we haven't had major wait times or bugs yet. I did get the cant attack bug but a restart fixed that....back in game with no queue.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun the game play is and I have been enjoying the skill tree and progression so far.

Sure there are a few release issues but I have had nothing game breaking or that a restart cant fix. At times there arent enouugh NPC's to kill but they respawn pretty quickly so a little patience and you are back killing NPC's.

Still enjoying this game. It has a way to go but what they have put down so far is great. Especially if you like building and have friends to play with.

Such a great game. First played a couple of hours and wasnt hooked. Loaded it up again later and went further into the game and absolutely loved it. Well worth the money.

Very interesting so far. A little slow but thats not a bad thing. Not as intuitive as a lot of games but not overly complex either. I have really enjoyed my start in this and have high hopes going forwards.

I have to admit that I have had a blast playing DD2. It is a really fun game and lovely experience. I play with both mouse and keyboard and PS5 controller (depends on how I am feeling on the day). The Pawn systems is loads of fun and the AI is pretty good. I enjoy swapping out my Pawns from time to time just for a change of pace and as I am levelling. Also the swapping of vocations enables you to play "Sword and Board", Mage and thief all in one session.

Sure the game isnt perfect and there are some things that can irritate but if you can get past some things its an excellent game all told.

The micro transactions are a non issue as almost everything they give you is available in game and I haven't even thought about them.
I havent had any performance issues to date as I have a pretty beefy system

Its like eating peanuts, once you start you cannot stop. There are some issues with getting your Pals to do what you want, having them actually put items in the correct storage, etc. These issues are not game breaking and the game as a whole is well worth the money.

Really looking forward to where they take the game.

This is Skyrim in space and I really am enjoying playing it. It is a Bethesda game through and through and going in knowing that made it great for me. Are there some janky things, yes there are. Are there items that need to be improved yes.....inventory is horrendous, maps on planets are bad. However I am having a blast playing it and looking forward to my play time so a definite thumbs up from me if you can accept what it isnt and enjoy it for what it is.

Brilliant CRPG. Really having a good time in game and well worth the money. Worthy contender for Game of the Year.
