played a lot off of steam, have beaten a couple of demons. this game was my childhood if anything. it's really fun but it will give you carpal tunnel syndrome
definitely worth it though

harsh but very fun once you get the hang of it and you can play it with friends now :D
tons of content and it's still being actively updated. also has a good modding community to help you along the ride :)
