Ah, where do I begin with this game….. From terrible graphics, horrible gameplay mechanics and finally downright awful servers this game leaves much to be desired.
Firstly, the graphics. Yes, I know this is an arcade type game but realistically I expected graphics at least 2x better than what is present. With how much hype this game had and how many people played it at the beginning, I am severely disappointed to come back to this game with the same terrible graphics.
Secondly, the gameplay. Oh man oh man, do not get me started on the gameplay. First, why is it a feature for this game to be able to grab other players. The number of times I have lost to a player falling and grabbing me pulling me down with them is ridiculous. The controls are clunky, movement feels vague almost similar to bowling in thick fog. Overall, the gameplay mechanics much to my disappointment have not improved and I do not see them improving in the foreseeable future.
Finally, the servers. The servers are abysmal at best, and a downright dumpster fire at the worst. Actually scratch that, at their worst the server are the equivalent of a dumpster fire with a group of alt right activists warming their hands over it. The number of times I have been disconnected from a game is pretty much uncountable and it just makes the gameplay experience all the more dull and unsatisfying.
Overall, I would only recommend buying this game, actually nah I would only ever recommend playing this game if you got it for free and someone was holding a gun to your head threatening to shoot you if you did not play.
TL;DR This game is a total dumpster fire, avoid like the plague.
