I had a blast - the characters were so funny, the animation was cute, ended up enjoying this way more than I thought I would. Everything feels so intentional and I caught myself laughing so many times.

For those of you looking for lots of content I would advise against getting this game. There is no 'Freeplay' mode where you can just do Dispatch forever - everything is limited. There are probably some users that will not enjoy the limited scope of the game. So if you don't think that roughly 10 hours of content (one run) is worth $30 I totally understand wait for a sale and pick this up.

If $30 does not bother you, pick this title up, we need more games like Dispatch.

Fun, better pacing. However the ending does ruin the story, felt like a cop out.

It's Oblivion, but it looks real good. Only complaint is that it could be better optimized but that is about it. I like that they stayed true to the original game and kept a lot of the charm, and some of the environments just look gorgeous.

I think if you enjoy Elder Scrolls, and understand that this is an older title with a fresh coat of paint then you will enjoy the experience.

This game is fun, feels like a true evolution of the formula I played as a kid (BGS titles). I would recommend this title to anyone who enjoys open world RPGs, the attention to detail here is just fantastic. Are the cut scenes as good as BG3, absolutely not, but they get the job done. But through interacting with the world/characters I feel like I'm making an impact on my surroundings. Unlike other stale open world titles where everything feels so watered down, this game is the opposite of that. Do NOT be intimated by the difficulty, this game is actually not that hard. It might be more involved but I think anyone who enjoys these types of RPGs will welcome the challenge. A lot of the survival elements are things I enjoy in these first person games anyway - I have mods for Cyberpunk 2077 that do the exact same thing.

Another quick point I want to make is this AAA game had an amazing release. This title is optimized well and Warhorse should be praised for raising the bar. Is there some jank? Duh it's an open world game. But what other titles that come out get you 40 frames on a GTX 1060 (I don't use this hardware but I've seen videos of other users testing this game). This game doesn't rely on upscalers at all, it runs like a dream. This is the standard all major studios should be held to.

9.2/10

Amazing game! I can't believe I never played this before. Like many people I'm here because of BG3 and this game hit that sweet spot for me instantly. It does start slow but once things get rolling you can't put it down.

Larian delivers consistent quality in their titles and that is no different here. The game play is less chance based, meaning most characters will hit their target, and the use of spells is way more present. This title focuses more on having fun with the abilities rather than carefully selecting what to use when. You won't find any crazy cut scenes in this game either but I don't think that hinders the experience at all, its just a different level of production.

I think my only complaint would be the lack of a jump and push action, but I'm just used to playing Baldur's Gate. Another small annoyance is the party management. So many times I wanted to split up my party and do more coordination when starting a fight which wasn't as fluid in this title. Other smaller things like the lack of a hotkey to separate and regroup the party is also not present. But would these be issues back when this title was released, of course not. I think going back and just now playing this after BG3 makes you realize how crazy Larian must have been to attempt something like that.

I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys RPGs - its a blast!

A very solid Remaster of a great video game.

If you have never played this title a great way to check it out. The Remaster isn't bind blowing but adds some quality of life features and does enhance a lot of the lighting.

The gameplay has not changed at all from the initial version of the game so I could totally understand why some would find this remaster slightly scummy.

Sadly I can't recommend this version of the game.

I purchased this version to play the DLC because you can't buy the DLC for the initial version of the game, which is questionable.

However with the hopes that maybe this version would run better it turned out to be the opposite - even with mods and ENB this version refuses to play at anything above 60 FPS. It also tears slightly and nothing I can do fixes this right now. I have games like Sins Episodes Emergence, GTA San Andreas, and Quake that can all run at 165 FPS with no mods required. Even my Normal version can run at higher frame rates with the help of mods so I really don't understand what is different here.

This is not how aging games should be taken care of and it clearly shows how BGS doesn't care about their titles once they are released.

At first I was really bad at this game, but then I just started cheesing levels and now I'm slightly ok! Very fun game!
