I reccomend the game if its on sale. While the game is fun, there are frustrating elements that I felt were contradictory to an open world game.
The game will restrict your movement in bases and during the missions where you're joined by a character.
Suddenly you can't scale things that you could own your own - the character does that for you during a needless cut scene.
During the mission "Don't Get Caught" you are somehow unable to handle an enemy gang that you easily dealt with much earlier on.
The game doesn't respect the progress that the player has made. It just wants to force you into completing yer another sneaking mission, "go find this thing" mission.

One thing I did enjoy was the combat against human gangs. It was exciting because they were challening to engage. However there is no pay off - despite the exciting discovery of a bunker, there is nothing. Maybe some FarCry 5 bunkers were too bountiful, but there's nothing down there in Days Gone.

Super fun game. A great revival of Half Life!

I came back to this game recently after a long absence , and I've really enjoyed the improvements that have been made.
The tutorial has been greatly improved and I felt as a "new again" player it really helped me get back into the game and enjoy it.
I've never played other skate sims, so I can only compare it to THPS. But if you're looking for a challenging alternative to an arcade style game, I think Session is a good choice

I asked for a refund for this game because it's not worth buying even on sale. The set up and game play are very tedious. While I get that you're playing as a kid and wouldn't be as agile as an adult - it feels more like you're playing as a turtle.

The game would be better if the default walking speed felt normal with the options to slow down to reduce noise or to speed up a bit with the penalty of increase noise. An intruder barely saw me peek out from behind a door and I had to start over.
I think the game would be more fun if you could attempt to retreat to hide or evade them.

I think the game takes the real world scenario of a child against a group of agile criminals too literally and could be enjoyable if some realism were removed - within reason. Not asking for a ninja, but the turtle movement is too slow.
