I've been a fan of beat's em up my whole life and I was waiting for Absolum since i've played the demo, and was hooked on the beautiful art, incredibly fluid movement set of the characters, and an absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack.
The roguelike gameplay is a wonderful element and a breath of fresh air for a game of this genre. It allows for multiples, differents runs that never feel the same, and is very well implement.

If you want to have a good time, buy it.

It's been a long time since i've enjoyed a beat em up that feels refreshing.

Absolum is very promising for a lot of reason. The gameplay is fluid, but the game still feels challenging at times, and you get better when you start to handle the game better.
In a way, the game feels and handle like a Golden Axe game, and has it's own identity with what seems in the demo to be a well crafted world and story.
In the end, just jump on Absolum and try it. If you liked Golden Axe, River City Girls or Streets of Rage, you will enjoy it.
