On a metroidvania streak/binge, I encountered numerous references to Reverie Under the Moonlight. I read a few articles and quickly realized I could play its precursors, Momodora 1 and 2 for free. As a long-time Cave Story fan, I was immediately hooked and played through each. I played through and 100%'ed Momodora 3 prior to this game.

All three featured increasing levels of polish and depth. It was fun to see the evolution towards what RUtM would become, and I think gave me that much more appreciation for this excellent title. RUtM has so much depth and polish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you enjoy metroidvanias. My first playthrough was on Hard Mode, and it surely delivered on that promise with some of the boss battles.
