Extremely effective horror game with a simple premise: find the anomalies in the series of creepy cabins being presented to you. It’s pretty much all jumpscares with a psychological horror plot, so skip it if you’re not into those.

Honestly better than a lot of anomaly-hunting games like I’m On Observation Duty, in no small part because the setting is relatively simple in comparison to IOOD, so you feel less cheated when you miss one.

As others have mentioned, this game is extremely poorly optimized; playable but sluggish, at least on the steam deck. Pepare to be feeling like you’re chugging through a sea of molasses when you’re playing.

It's Magic: The Gathering online without it being Magic: The Gathering: Online.

A decent idle game with a bunch of good knobs and dials to play with.

A decent game without a heavy attention load and five minute atoms, great for playing if you just need a few minutes to burn. Microtransactions are present, but not heavy and it's rather hard to "pay to win".

Klonoa's original release was a classic, and still is; a game that spends that much time on so many "best-of" lists has something to it.

As a platformer it's very much in the mold of a Mario or pitfall: you're introduced to the main abilities you'll have early on, and the game's challenges overall involve using your limited abilities in interesting ways.

Unlike a lot of games of this genre, it uses the idea of 3D and 2D in interesting ways: movement is constrained to left or right, but things may be in the foreground or background, or may involve shooting something perpendicular to your movement. Enemies might come from the background to the foreground or vice-versa, and you might be swining on a bridge or some suchas. While it sounds confusing, the game does a good job of making things obvious and understandable, helped by the gorgeous and bright art style.

Another thing to say is that while the game looks like mascot platformers of the past, brain dead and simple, the game hits hard with some of the hardest platforming and execution of it's era. IT comes from the era of "Short, but brutal" and lives up to it: with only ten levels in the first one, the game makes sure to pack as much as it can into that.

Overall, this is definitely a game for both new and old gamers; both those who have nostalgia for the original release, and those who want a new and fun game.

If you've ever wanted to be the captain of the Starship Enterprise (Or maybe more the Millenium Falcon), this is the game for you.
