Elden Ring Nightreign is an interesting game with promise, which needs a lot of polish. As of the current state, it feels incomplete. This is because, if you're strictly playing in a 3 player party with friends, you will experience some amazing boss battles, a dark atmospheric game, and an overall fun experience that you would want to jump in again and again.

But that is where the fun of the game ends. Solo play is horrible, No duos, no voice comms, and just a ping system to rely on, makes the game unfun and borderline frustrating for anyone who doesn't have three friends owning the game. This isn't a matter of skill issue either as the bosses are designed for 3 players coordinating properly. You cannot exactly carry anyone in the game.

As I said, it shows promise, but FromSoftware has work to do, if they want Nightreign to be a game that players will play similar to other multiplayer, co-op or live service titles.

Completely ruined the game. If I wanna play like this, I might as well play Dark Souls 2

Lords of the Fallen in its essence is a true Soulslike. I played every Souls games in the past, and this one definitely takes its spot amongst the best that I have experienced.

That being said, the performance is crappy. UE5 is a buggy mess and Lords of the Fallen suffers from that. In fact, it makes sense why companies like FromSoft haven't touched UE5 yet. Hopefully that gets fixed so that people get to experience this amazing Souls game.

One of the biggest comeback stories in gaming. CP 2077 in 2023 is a masterpiece that it was always meant to be. No doubt if it was released in 2023, this game would be vying for GOTY. But better late than never.
