A short and sweet Idle game, and it's free!!! I can only recommend 😍😍😍

After absolutely & unironically loving the first Bad Rats, I was really looking forward to playing this, but it crashes every 2-5 minutes after booting the game up for every imaginable reason, because of a cutscene, because of an explosion, because of simply playing and putting down objects, and even for no reason while simply being idle in the main menu!!! <:(

Also I found the first game to be much easier and simpler when it came to placing down the rats, it was really understandable, here it's much more, I would want to say fleshed out, but I have to say complicated, you need to go into a seperate menu first (another extra click that resulted in a crash for me 25% of the time) and it kinda sluggish placing them down.

BUT THE FIRST BAD RATS GAME I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!! :)

As a kid I always skipped this game and went straight to Contracts & Blood Money, now I finally played it fully for the first time, I think it might have become my favorite, or at least just as liked as Blood Money & the reboots, I wish I could forget this game and be able to experience the levels for the first time again, BECAUSE IT'S SO GOOD!!! It will forever have a special place in my heart now. :)

The levels are VERY varied, so varied in fact that I would never expect it from this game, while some levels are tiny, even cozy, some levels are GIANT, maybe too giant for their own good at some moments, but nothing that would make me like this game less.
There are a few pretty big difficulty spikes if you're playing for the first time and don't know what to do, the first of which (Lee Hong Assassination) probably turned a lot of players away from this game sadly, but if you actually figure out a strategy and what to do, it's totally awesome, it was just the right amount of challenging for me and actually might have become one of my favorite missions + the highlights of this game are just so good they're out of this world good. (Traditions Of The Trade & The Setup my beloved).

I don't think I haven't enjoyed a single second of my time with this game, even when losing I had the desire to try again and again + getting 100% achievements is just the right amount of challenging while still being so much fun!!!
If you like chess then this game is pure joy!!! :)

I had so much fun and it was perfectly playable with the mouse until the 9th level then it got impossible, I don't understand the fact that you can get 95% accuracy and still lose, and the lack of any controller support & ability to assign keys other than normal letters in a game where you need to play like 5 notes a second perfectly, so you need to customize everything to perfection, doesn't help!!! :(

On higher difficulties, the lack of more in-depth control customization and the insane skills and memorization required, I don't recommend bothering with it, unless you know that you're an absolute pro!!! Yes at 89 cents it's cheap but I got Hitman: Codename 47 for 79 cents and played that game for 20 hours and had fun every second of the way, so I wouldn't justyfying paying for something that might just be frustrating and not fun.

But if you don't care about the Chopin difficulty achievement and play on easier modes then this game is totally awesome & the art is beautiful!!! :)

VERY FUN GAME AND I DEFINITLY RECOMMEND!!! :)

...BUT!!! Very unoptimized and runs very badly at lowest settings even on mid-tier PCs, especially because of the extremely detailed lighting with no way to choose a simpler lighting option for weaker PCs. My PC is above the minimum requirements listed on the store page, and yet it barely ran, BUT if you have a good PC that can handle this game, then I DEFINITLY recommend to try it out!!! :)
