shaking my head whenever nao says weird things towards yua's little sister so the game knows i don't agree with it

a very solid mystery visual novel, though i wish it did more with the gameplay. if you like mystery visual novels you'll probably like this one too, just keep in mind it won't be as gameplay-heavy as a game like ace attorney or zero escape.

if you have access to a DS or 3DS, play the original versions instead. the steam version makes very minimal changes other than boosting the resolution and adding voice acting to the first game. the models, textures, and UI are mostly unchanged.

if you can look past the dated visuals, these two games are both incredible. they do a great job at making you feel like you know absolutely nothing, and slowly drip-feed you information in a way that's super addicting. if you're looking for a game that scratches the same itch as other mystery visual novel games like ace attorney and ghost trick, i would definitely recommend this game.

was not expecting this game to be the most difficult/oddly cruel game ive ever played but im obsessed now. despite its flaws this is probably one of the best furry games out right now (not a high bar to cross but still)
