Early Access Review
Blackbird nails game feel again.
This is a great game, and almost defines a genre on its own. I'm tempted to call ship breaker a puzzle game or a sandbox game, but neither quite fits. If your interested in trying something different, this might be the game for you.

This game understands who the Adeptus Mechanics are better than games workshop. The characters are well written and the sound design, from music to sfx and dialog, is top tier. I feel like this game is great for both fans of the Warhammer 40K franchise or for people who just want a different turn based tactics game.

I will note that, while I like the systems of this game a lot, you team can become super powerful by the end game. It's not that one advancement path or skill set is overpowered, its that late game characters can have so many skills under their belt, that it becomes difficult for enemies to form a response that can meaningfully stop them. I am sure harder difficulties or perma death mode make this less of a case on play through 2.

Overall super solid and overlooked, check it out.

Fast, well balanced, challenging, and suprising intellectual (from a combat perspective). In some ways this version of doom feels almost like a fighting game once you get the basics down. If you've slept on doom in the past or like shooters in general, I can't plug this game enough.

Classic Homeworld feel in a shiny new package. Also one of the best balanced games I have ever played.
