One of the best arpg right now and the best if you dont like certain aspects of Path of exile. I was a POE player for a long time played the game for over 4 years and didnt bother with grim dawn at that time, i thought grim dawn was a lackluster diablo 2 clone. But i was so wrong. Grim dawn does couple of things way better than other arpgs out there. Exploration and item set pieces has to be one of the best features of this game. Boss fights feel impactful, defenses work pretty well, you dont get 1 shot by a mob that you cant even see (which is a common occurrence in POE). I am extremely happy with this game especially the way this game handles loot and difficulty. You will always get something for playing but you will need to plan ahead extensively if you want to take on the endgame. One bad thing though the game doesnt have crazy youtube coverage, so you have to figure a lot of things out by yourself. And tons of outdated , mediocre builds are on Youtube which are clickbaity as hell

Honestly the entire ARR which is the vanilla content of the game is bizzare and boring, the whole plot of the first 50 level is very bland. But i have to say the game gets wayy better in the expansion zones, the story of all the expansions are quite good, the levelling is also quite fun , classes feel much better later on. Overall i would say hold onto your breath till you get to heavesward expansion content it is worth it, but if you are someone who doesnt like stories and just want to go to endgame and farm raids this game isnt really for you, the raids and dungeons in this game is good but if you dont like story you are gonna find levelling quite boring.

Great game with lots of things to do and good developers. Alot of people will compare this to ARK but to be honest this game takes its idea from a lot of games and mixes them together well. Overall great game but stll has some collusion detection problem
