Solid game overall but I am not a fan of how chaotic inventory management is and am incredibly disappointed that the developers didn't even bother to implement the split screen co-op feature that they put on the console version of the game.

Ended up having to buy an xbox version of the game just to play with my wife so I guess they got what they wanted and got anther sale out of it.

Would recommend, but this game needs a number of quality of life updates that only mods solve at the moment.

1) There is no way to finish off rival kingdoms without executing every lord they have, a move that is not great for gameplay. This leads to annoying situations of getting declared war upon by kingdoms with no lands yet still somehow find the money to field troops and hire mercs. Then if you want to peaced them out you always end up having to pay them, despite your overwhelming strength.

2) There is no way to summon mercenaries, but the AI can do it remotely. So to hire them you have to chase down the leader every time. At the very least you should be able to hire the mercs through any single party of theirs, not just the leader. Pain in the ass.

3) Additional command tools would be nice, relatively limited ability to command the troops in battle simulations.
