A roguelike short story. Cobalt Core uses the "start over when you die" hallmark of the roguelike genre and uses it to tell a story about astronauts in a time loop. It's short and sweet and doesn't overstay its welcome. There's definitely a focus on quality over quantity here, so if you expect weeks and weeks of replay value you may be disappointed, but honestly, this game is worth playing for the cute furry characters alone.

This game is modeled after a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book, with a small number of branching paths that explore different "what-if" scenarios. There are multiple good endings.

The main plot is about a mousey woman who drinks some mysterious tea and turns into a furry, then gets up to wacky hijinks with her queer nerdy friends. It's fun, it's sweet, and it's just the right amount of horny.

The art goes for quality over quantity, focusing on doing a small number of 'essential' fetishes and doing them extremely well. If you're into transformation, hypnosis, or bdsm, you'll have a great time. If not, all sex scenes are clearly marked and skippable, so you have that option too.

Most horny visual novels that I've seen, seem to approach from the "RPG" direction, with a focus on conquest, on being crafty and manipulative. Mice Tea is a breath of fresh air, approaching the genre from the "Romance Novel" direction first and foremost. If you're a fan of consensual sex and friends-to-lovers, you're in for a treat. What are you waiting for?

Minimalist deckbuilding roguelike. The 'slot machine' mechanic is basically just an auto-card-battler: you draw your hand, it plays itself automatically, and you go directly to your next shuffle.

The developer art is a little wonky, but in a charming way, and the music is great. Good little cooldown game.

It looks like Into the Spiderverse and it plays like a love letter to the Dreamcast/PS2 era. It's musical, it's colorful, it's fun, and it doesn't overstay its welcome.

The core focus of this game is its rhythm combat system, and I have to say, it's beautiful. You can mash buttons if you want, but attacks will delay until they line up with a beat, so you'll always perform SOME sort of rhythm even if your personal sense of timing isn't great. In that sense it's very similar to Crypt of the Necrodancer, where the heartbeat acts as a compromise between real-time and turn-based combat. Combined with the comic book aesthetic, this creates a sense of weight; every attack is like a "ka-pow!" panel. Great for people like me whose reaction time isn't good enough for normal fighting games!
