Kinda absurd how addicted I got to this game. As everyone knows this game had a really rocky start on release.
It was buggy and god awful. Fast forward 5 years and it's the game it sought out to be.
V2.21 is perfection, I've played through this game 3 separate times now and I will be playing it more.
Next stop is modding.

A beautiful game with a great story to reflect on.
Is it worth full price? Possibly not. It has the same issue I had with Superliminal, it's a great concept, but it lacks in the length department. I would've loved for this game to be longer and I understand it's an indie game with a smaller development team, but I finished the entire game and all optional levels in under 6 hours. To get my money's worth I'd expect at least 20h of gameplay. I guess there is collectables and achievements but those don't give the same kind of satisfaction as story and gameplay, especially in a puzzle game where you will then already know the answers after playing though the first time.
However, I do have to say thank you to the devs for this great game.

This game is amazing, even in early access my first full playthrough (so far) has taken 50+ hours, it's everything you could want from a survival game on a new planet

Such an enjoyable game, so much fun playing it. Very easy to learn and once you get in the rhythm you'll realise you've been playing for 8+ hours without a break

Very excited for the full release of this beautifully designed game. The great expanse of unknown scared and surprised me before and its done an even better job this time.

Super enjoyable 2-D souls-like platformer. This game will make you fall in love with the characters through their unique interactions and the narrative of the world that is laid out before you. The game holds a perfect balance of character-arc and mystery where the lore of the world is held within subtle hints throughout.
TL;DR this game is a perfect buy for players seeking for a challenge and perfect for those who are looking for a counter for a souls game.
