Highly reccomend for anyone competitive TF2 players to give a go in the arena, a new environment from a usual game is very refreshing. Stays true to the quake theme of the arena shooter, highly reccomend.

If you like single-life-run games like Nuclear Throne or The Binding of Isaac; this game should be no different. this gam combines the aspect of secrets and difficulty as the game goes on, alike nuclear throne, all maps will be shaped differently and secrets are in every level, I recommend playing this when you're tired of your regular, go-to games as a break but still intact to keep your reflexes up in the ante.

Got this game from a free PAX East 2016 code. Great game to play when you don't have too much time on your hands and is very skill based. Hours of playing is never repetitive as the maps always change after each run, many characters, secrets, perks and challenges lie ahead and is even multiplayer if you download the simple mod approved by the developers of the game. So many characters to choose from and define your play style, whether you're very aggressive and offense or stonewall defensive, you'll find a character to fit your playstyle for sure.

needing a break from an average shooter or main eSport is something we all do, quake is the game i turn to when i feel like i need a break from competitive games and bring those same skills to another environment. Playing a ton of TF2 really gets you and rocket launchers to bond, quake is no different and even helps test your reflexes as the game is incredibly fast pased, highly recommend for a quick lunch break game or just for relaxing with a challenge.
