Super lovable characters, decent story and lots of ♥♥♥♥.

Words capable of doing this game justice in a review do not exist.

This game has been the only thing on my mind 24/7 this past week. Listening to its soundtrack in the car or while working, playing the game when I get home. Damn, I even listened to peoples reactions or full playthroughs on YouTube whilst working. After about 50 hours of playtime myself I have now completed every achievement, With the game finished, I dont know what to praise the most.

The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. The lyrics and compositions, Lorien Testard did an absolutely insane job. The voices of Alice Duport-Percier and Victor Borba are perfection on this score. The background choir is perfect. Un vie á t´aimer, Un vie á peindre, We Lost, Clair-Obscur, Lumiére, Aline. I dont know if I can pick a favorite and I dont even speak French. And just the background-tracks for areas and character themes are so good at building the atmosphere and immersing you into the world of the story. Pure bliss. Making me wanna learn instruments.

The performances put on by the voice actors are incredible, every scene filled with emotion. I have a sweet spot for characters voiced by Jennifer English and Ben Starr. But in addition to them we get Daredevil himself, Charlie Cox?!?!? We also get Smeagol, Andy Serkis?!?! Im not gonna name all but I feel like everyone knew their characters really well and portraied them with emotion and immersion.

The story is absolutely brilliant. Its beautiful, tragic, complex and captivating. Instantly when you get into the prologue you get immersed in the world the characters live in. The characters and their dialogues are so well written I got attached to them instantly. The story keeps you constantly on your toes, trying to figure out what is going on, whats gonna happen, answering one question leaves you with two new ones. At the end its super clear what the message of the game is. This story has really made me think and made me feel. One of the endings had me ugly crying, not even exaggerating.

The combat system, to me, is super fun, challenging and engaging. It is not revolutionary, but, as a Persona enjoyer, or a turn-based enjoyer overall, while also being a Sekiro lover, Im the perfect fit for this combat system. Hitting the parries and getting the counter is so satisfying and rewarding. Every character is unique and viable gameplay-wise. You dont feel compelled to research min-max builds just to be able to prgoress the story. You can come up with any build that fits you with abilites and weapons you find interesting.

The graphics are unreal. (no pun intended) Especially with the scenery and worldbuilding this game offers. Seroiously. Every. Single. Area. Absolutely breathtaking. Any frame in this game can be screenshotted and used as a wallpaper. The scale of colossal monsters and their slow movements make it look so realistic even though its fantasy. This game has ALOT of particle effects and they always make it look so good. This game is incredibly beautiful.
The sound-design is also amazing. A certain cane especially.

The cinematics look like they are straight out of a movie. The work with particles, lences, angles, lighting, shadows, music, acting, motions and scenery is amazing, really.

This game, to me, is so very special. I went in with 0 expectations knowing nothing at all about the game. It came to me out of nowhere and became my favorite game of all time. I already wish I could erase my memory and replay it. I cant recommend it enough. If you like a good story, then you should give this game a shot even if its not your typical type of game.

And to you, Sandfall Interactive, MERCI BEAUCOUP, for this absolute gem. Im really excited to see what your next project is gonna be.

I BEAT THIS WITH NO SUMMONS NO NPC HELPERS.

This DLC was amazing, beautiful and the bosses were insanely cool with GREAT challenge. Final boss had me sitting for 9 hours then a sleep break and back at it for 2 more hours.

Easily the hardest FromSoftware challenge to date.

Really good, like all FromSoftware games I´ve played yet.

Hated this game from the bottom of my heart and could not understand how this won goty, then I learned how to parry, use mikiri counter and use ninja tools.

Amazing bosses, story, characters, visuals and combat system.
Satisfying death blows.
Give it some time, learn its combat system and you are good to go!

I wish for a sequel or for this fighting system to be reused with maybe some small touches.

Sekiro is one of the best, if not the best, FromSoftware game in my opinion.

Funny and short game with questionable dialogues and badass moments.
And the OST is amazing!
